The privacy and confidentiality of stored data is protected 24/7 by data encryption twice the level required by HIPAA (military grade) using 256-bit encryption keys. In addition, you personally control the users and accounts which have access to information stored in your Vault.
I’ve never heard of Legal Doc Vault, how do I know my data will be secure?
Our company was founded by Lynn M. Britt, C.P.A., J.D. As a C.P.A. and attorney Ms. Britt is hyper aware of security and privacy concerns. Your client information and the data stored in your Vault is password protected by you and not accessible to our employees. Legal Doc Vault, Inc. is properly funded and financially stable.
Our Terms of Service includes a confidentiality clause and security that serves as a confidentiality agreement for our customers.
What does the Florida Bar think about online storage of my Client’s documents?
Florida Bar Ethics Opinion 12-3 allows Florida Lawyers to use online document management systems. Visit the Florida Bar’s website for more information.
If I decide to cancel my subscription to the software, will I be able to download all of my documents?
Yes, all the data stored in your Vault is available for backup at all times in the same PDF or other format in which you uploaded it. If you cancel your subscription to our service, we will maintain your data for up to thirty (30) days.
How often are new features added? Are any major new features planned?
New features will be added on a regular basis. New modules for more advanced data processes are planned.
I have a feature or idea that I’d like to be added to the Legal Doc Vault. Will you take this into consideration for future versions?
